Thumbs up

I wanted to put this in a different thread cause I couldn't believe this. So from one of my other posts I mentioned I won a Lindsey "Doll Collection complete". So, I pay for my item, and a few minutes later I get an e-mail from someone and here is what it says:

    Dear sailorangel59,

I have been looking for Lindsay for a long time and have not been able to find her, any chance you would consider selling to me? I kow you have won this auction buy was unable to follow end of auction what do you say? I will pay more than you won if reasonable, *email edited*

I'm not going to agree to this, but I am wondering who would do this. I mean Lindsey is just as important (if not more so) to me as she may be to her, can't she accept that?

I mean it is not like there aren't other Lindsey auctions.

Thats ridiculus but funny at the same time. I guess you have to at least give the girl (or guy) respect for having the guts to ask. Still, who does that?! Like you said there are lots of Lindsey auctions, they tend to go high but she's been retired for years now so what would they expect? I think you should send an email back declining their offer than inform them about auction snipers so they don't have to worry about missing the end of an auction again

I wrote back saying no, then sent her six ebay links to Lindsey auctions. I told her to search under Lindsey and not lindsay, since that is the proper way her name is spelled.

That's appalling! I would be so angry! If you won the auction, wouldn't she be able to tell that you wanted her bad, too?

I was wondering about her sentence structure for awhile... I know some people get a little lazy when typing... but there was something juvinille (sp?) about it. It kind of made me question the validity and trustworthiness of the person.

one of the sentences I spent about two minutes deciphering. At first I thought she was telling me that I couldn't go through with the payment... which was really odd, cause I had just paid for it (and I have the positive feedback already to prove it). I also wondered why she doesn't just put the money she was offering me towards another auction for the same thing.
